Bonnie Hobbs MSW, RSW
Bonnie Hobbs BSW, MSW, RSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Bonnie graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with both a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work Degree.
Bonnie has over 14 years of experience providing support to individuals, couples and families within the Health Care System. Bonnie believes that all individuals have strengths and through identifying these strengths, healing can occur. Bonnie creates a safe environment by building strong therapeutic relationships while working from a client centered approach.
Bonnie has worked extensively with individuals and families who have experienced difficult life transitions such as new diagnosis of cancer and other terminal illness, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, survivorship and end of life. Bonnie’s research interest is in explaining a parent’s cancer diagnosis to children. From a client centered approach, Bonnie can provide various therapeutic interventions to meet the individual needs of the client.
